November 16 is the final day of Oppo per the gazillion sources and posts here. I say we arrange a place for all of us to meet for a big goodbye party. I’m thinking Zoom or something similar where we can meet, chat, share a drink or two, and celebrate the life that was Oppo on kinja. We can swap stories of highlights from this page, connect with one another outside of here via social media or whatever.
I am not technologically inclined enough to get this going, so any one that wants to lead the parade have at it. I understand we are all over the world, so people can come and go as they please throughout the day..
If this sounds too complicated or stupid, let me know and I’ll go back to lobbying for vans to be the standard vehicle for every driver out there.

Peak hours would probably be hectic, we could have the mods be...mods on the chat as well so not everyone is talking at once.
Perhaps we can split into separate groups per discussion topics? One for memories, one for car talk, one for connecting....I don’t know. I should not be up this early on a Saturday.

Thanks for reminding me how much I miss Club Penguin.
The only place I feel that has been established for live discussion is Discord, but a lot of Oppos (I included) really don’t like Discord all that much. There’s no free game that hosts 1000s of people either, but Rusty is collecting emails so we’ll have some communication.

I would enjoy something of the sort. I’ve not talked to anyone here like that though I’ve exchanged messages with a few outside Kinja. Not sure how it would work from a technical perspective but I’d be interested. Maybe repost this as it seems not many people saw it? There’s been so much activity here lately it’s hard to keep up.
